Founder
Jess Mah launched her first six-figure business in middle school—and she’s been building ever since. She’s been on the founding team of 10+ companies collectively valued at over $1 billion, though she’s quick to say there’s still a lot more to learn.
Over the past decade, Jess has led teams of hundreds as a CEO and raised tens of millions in capital. Today, she runs Mahway, her investment company, which supports high-conviction founders across fintech, biotech, AI, and litigation finance. The Mahway team includes 20+ full-time operators who help turn bold ideas into durable companies.
Jess studied Computer Science at U.C. Berkeley and has been grateful to be recognized by Inc. Magazine, Forbes 30 Under 30, and Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business.
She was the youngest woman accepted into Y Combinator, the youngest to join YPO, and the youngest graduate of Harvard Business School’s Presidents’ Program.
She splits her time between New York and San Francisco, surrounded by good people, hard problems, and her puppy.
“I think people are more likely to do deals with people who have that authenticity and… who are trying to have more fun along the way.”
